This Fraud and Corruption Control Plan (the Plan) has been developed to detail WA Country Health Service (WACHS) approach to fraud and corruption prevention, detection, response and reporting. The purpose of the Plan is to reduce the potential for fraud and corruption to occur and to build a culture within WACHS seeking to prevent fraudulent and corrupt behaviour. This Plan describes: - The roles and responsibilities of individuals and business areas within WACHS regarding the prevention and management of fraud and corruption - What fraud and corruption is and the process of detecting and reporting fraud and corruption - WACHS fraud and corruption risk identification process and controls - How reports of alleged fraud and corruption are investigated or referred to external agencies - How any suspected allegations of fraud or corruption will be managed, reported and dealt with.
