Emergency Telehealth Services

Construction started in April 2016 and was completed in June 2017. Collie Preston MLA Michael Murray officially opened the facility including an upgraded emergency department on 15 September 2017.

The Collie Health Service redevelopment included the following upgrades:

  • an upgraded emergency department
  • new triage areas
  • updated acute treatment areas
  • refurbished hospital entry and reception
  • refurbished medical records room and outpatients loan equipment facilities

The Emergency Telehealth Service (ETS) was introduced at the Collie Health Service in mid-2015.The ETS provides local clinical staff with access to emergency medicine specialists in Perth via video conference when treating acute or very unwell patients in the emergency department.
