Collaboration between frontline clinicians and WACHS Command Centre highlighted on national stage
The success of how specialists in Perth have worked alongside our incredible frontline clinicians to treat country patients has been recognised at this year’s annual National Rural Health Conference.
Speaking at the conference, WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Command Centre Medical Director Dr Justin Yeung shared the success of telehealth with healthcare professionals from across the country.
The Command Centre is a 24/7 health hub that harnesses telehealth technology to provide country clinicians with the tools and knowledge to provide patient centred care on country and close to home.
By having medical specialists available around-the-clock, local clinicians are supported to deliver potentially life-saving healthcare when and where it is needed.
