Project overview
A $277.9 million redevelopment project is set to transform Bunbury Regional Hospital into one of the most modern facilities in regional Australia.
When complete, Bunbury Regional Hospital will be the biggest in regional WA, reflecting its role as an important community healthcare hub for the entire South West region.
The transformation project includes:
- Hundreds of new parking bays
- Expanded emergency department
- Expanded maternity, birthing, and neonatal services
- Increased operating theatre capacity
- New clinical equipment
- New emergency access mental health facilities
- WA’s first regional training, education and research centre
- Boosting of digital capability
