Local contractors encouraged to take up key roles in Bunbury Regional Hospital redevelopment
Local contractors and suppliers are being called on to register an Expression of Interest (EOI) for opportunities to work on the $451 million Bunbury Regional Hospital redevelopment.
A range of key roles will be available for tender including structural works, fit out and finishes, external works, and electrical, mechanical and hydraulic services.
The redevelopment will deliver an expanded emergency department, increased operating theatre capacity, new emergency access mental health facilities as well as new clinical equipment, including sterilisation and support facilities, and a boost to digital capability.
Importantly, the new hospital will also include WA's first regional training, education and research centre as well as expanded maternity, birthing, and neonatal services to support South West families now and into the future.
Once complete, Bunbury Regional Hospital will be the biggest in regional WA, reflecting its role as an important community healthcare hub for the entire region.
Local contractors and suppliers are encouraged to attend an industry information session on Wednesday 9 October to hear an overview of the project and the packages of works to be tendered.
Businesses can register for the information session through the Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
