Expressions of interest sought for Bunbury Regional Hospital redevelopment

Expressions of interest are being called to deliver the $277.9 million redevelopment of Bunbury Regional Hospital.

Bunbury Regional Hospital is one of the busiest health sites in regional WA. The significant investment in both new and refurbished infrastructure will service the growing population of the region as well as the influx of tourists, making it a major health care destination for the South West.

Once complete, the redevelopment will deliver additional beds, an expanded emergency department, increased operating theatre capacity, new maternity, birthing and neonatal services, new clinical equipment, new emergency access and mental health facilities, plus WA's first regional training, education and research centre, and a boost to digital capability at the hospital.

Early critical works, including a new carpark, were completed in 2022.
