Work is happening behind the scenes on the Meekatharra Health Centre redevelopment

$48.9 million has been invested to upgrade the existing hospital site and WA Country Health Service is currently in the design phase - working with the Department of Finance and Department of Lands, Planning and Heritage to determine next steps - including consultation with Knowledge Holders.

Once complete, the community will benefit from a new consolidated health service that will see healthcare services collocated within one purpose-built facility.
