Every Immunisation Matters
Objectives
The campaign aligns with the WA Immunisation Strategy 2024-28 and aims to:
- Normalise immunisation and promote the WA Immunisation Schedule as the standard and trusted pathway for protecting children’s health.
- Connect families with local immunisation services.
- Prompt and remind caregivers to keep their child’s immunisations up-to-date through timely and supportive messaging.
- Raise awareness among culturally and linguistically diverse families that their children may be eligible for additional immunisations under the Australian schedule.
Key messages
- Regular childhood immunisations help keep kids healthy and protect them from sickness.
- Immunisation helps foster healthy communities.
- Immunisations are safe.
- Community health providers are available to support, educate and empower country families to make informed decisions about childhood immunisation.
