New Hospital Specialist Services Centre for outpatient care opens in central Bunbury
Central Bunbury has a new healthcare hub, with the Hospital Specialist Services Centre now open.
The Hospital Specialist Services Centre provides a central location for outpatient appointments with medical specialists and multi-disciplinary teams.
This includes local specialists from Bunbury Regional Hospital as well as visiting specialists from Perth Children’s Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Services available at the new centre include specialist nurse clinics for diabetes and cardiology as well as renal services and the Bunbury Regional Hospital general surgery clinic.
All appointments to the centre are via referral only.
Bunbury Regional Hospital Director Jeff Calver said the new facility provides easy access to highly specialised outpatient care.
“The Hospital Specialist Services Centre is a convenient hub for the community to access specialist outpatient medical services,” he said.
“It’s all part of WA Country Health Service’s commitment to giving residents in Bunbury and the South West access to world class care, close to home.”
The dedicated specialist centre will allow services to remain as uninterrupted as possible throughout the upcoming $277.9 million redevelopment of Bunbury Regional Hospital.
Situated in the heart of the Bunbury Central Business District, the centre has easily accessible off-street parking.
