Esperance Health Campus staff provide high quality care and support

WA Country Health Service’s Emergency Department (ED) team at Esperance Health Campus were recently praised by a husband and wife involved in a surfing incident. 

The man’s appreciative wife took to Care Opinion to acknowledge the support of our team in Esperance as they tended to her husband’s broken jaw.

“He was in so much pain after the adrenalin wore off, but they were so fast and caring sorting him out and tending to him,” she said.

“My gratitude to all the staff who supported me through this terrible time is beyond words and so very much appreciated!”

Esperance Director of Nursing Carla Jones said the ED staff were no strangers to these types of injuries and were busy preparing for the high volume of people who flock to the south coast for summer.

“We are preparing for another busy summer period and while we hope no one needs us, we’re here if they do,” Ms Jones said.
