A parent recently took to Care Opinion to express their gratitude for the surgical teams’ efforts in easing their daughters concerns around her oral surgery.
“I was impressed with the whole surgical team’s professionalism and caring nature,” they said.
“I was kept up to date through the whole experience, the nurses we saw were attentive and explained everything from pre-operative care to discharge.”
Clinical Nurse Manager Gemma Moyes said that communication was key in providing great care.
“Making sure patients and family members are made aware of changes in practice and communicating best quality practices is vital in providing high-quality care,” she said.
Ms Moyes said it fills her with joy hearing all the patient positive patient feedback – that every comment is pat on the back for the team.
“Patients are constantly sharing their experiences, saying how lucky they are to have such wonderful, caring and innovative services in the South West,” she said.
“I make sure all the staff, day surgery to theatre to admin, hear all positive patient feedback – the team are always so glad to know they are having a positive impact on someone’s life.”
