Contractor announced for Geraldton Health Campus redevelopment

Multiplex has been announced as the successful contractor to undertake the main works of the Geraldton Health Campus redevelopment.

Construction of the redevelopment project will include an expanded emergency department, a new intensive care unit co-located with an improved high dependency unit, and an integrated mental health service.

Works will commence in 2024.

The first stage of the project included the addition of 400 car bays, a new ambulance entry and reconfiguration of the main entrance to the hospital.

WA Minister for Health Amber-Jade Sanderson said the redevelopment will be the single biggest investment in Geraldton Hospital since the early 2000s.

"The construction of the main works will include an expanded emergency department, a new intensive care unit co-located with an improved high dependency unit, and an integrated mental health service.

"We will work with the contractor to ensure this project can be delivered as quickly as possible for the people of Geraldton," Minister Sanderson said.
