York Health Service Manager Sinq named for excellence

York Health Service Manager Sinqobizitha (Sinq) Mndebele’s passion for community within country has seen her nominated as a finalist at the 2024 WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards.

Since joining WA Country Health Service 13 years ago, Sinq maintains that a sense of community must be at the centre of her care.

“I love my role as a Director of Nursing and Health Service Manager,” she said.

“Being able to interact with patients daily and advocating for their rights.

“Working with WA Country Health Service also means I can bolster a positive workplace culture as I promote learning.”

Sinq told us this nomination has been humbling.

“There are so many brilliant nurses across WA,” she added.

“My nomination confirmed how amazing the York team is – along with the other teams I’ve worked with in my career.”
