New blanket warmer keeping Pingelly patients warm and cosy
A new blanket warmer is helping staff keep patients warm and comfortable during their stay at the Pingelly Health Centre.
It’s all thanks to a generous donation from the Pingelly Harvest Community Church, led by Pastor Rodney Evenis.
Executive Director WA Country Health Service Wheatbelt Rachele Ferrari said the donation is a sign of community support for the valuable work our staff do to make patients and their families feel safe and comfortable.
“A trip to hospital can be overwhelming. It makes a big difference to be able to provide a cosy warm blanket to patients when they’re feeling vulnerable,” she said.
“We’re lucky to live and work in communities with such a generous spirit, and we’re grateful to the Pingelly Harvest Community Church for showing they care about the wellbeing of our patients as much as we do.”
To show our appreciation, Pingelly Health Centre invited members of the church to a special morning tea in their honour.
