Harvey Health Service honours healthcare heroes
WA Country Health Service (WACHS) has recognised the extraordinary contributions of team members from Harvey Health Service for their work supporting their local community.
Clinical Nurse Maria Griffiths was nominated for the South West Inland ‘Above and Beyond’ award for her unwavering commitment to supporting her colleagues and team, including regularly stepping into the role of Acting Clinical Nurse Manager.
Enrolled Nurse Rosanne Catalano was nominated for the South West Inland ‘Making a Difference’ award for her compassionate care and dedication to patients awaiting aged care services. Her efforts in creating engaging activities such as art therapy, provide much needed stimulation and comfort to patients.
We also celebrated significant service milestones, with Tania Eccles (Hotel Services, Harvey and Yarloop Hospitals) recognised for 25 years of dedicated service and Anita Gallop (Support Services) for an incredible 35 years.
Executive Director South West Kerry Winsor congratulated staff and said the recognition was a testament to their commitment to helping to deliver high quality care.
“The Harvey Health Service team show what it means to go above and beyond and continuously make a meaningful difference for their patients, colleagues and the local community,” she said.
