Get ready for 2025 GradConnect applications
Applications open Monday 24 February 2025 at 9:00am (AWST) for all newly qualified enrolled nurses, registered nurses, and midwives to apply for a graduate or transition to practice program through GradConnect.
People can apply for employment opportunities in all participating public, private and aged care health providers in Western Australia.
In country WA, this is a unique opportunity to explore some of Western Australia’s most beautiful landscapes.
The program offers a range of learning and development opportunities to help you kickstart your career or extend your skills into specialised roles – from medical to palliative care, maternity and more.
A career in country health also means:
- a chance to look after diverse country communities
- access to incentive payments from $5,000 to $17,000 depending on your location
- discounted health insurance premiums at select providers
- access to a range of incentives
- rotational programs to explore some of WA’s most beautiful landscapes while working.
In addition, newly qualified registered nurses and midwives who complete a WA Country Health Service graduate program via 2025|GradConnect may be eligible for the HECS-HELP initiative. Visit nursing and midwifery careers in WA Country Health Service for further information.
Applications are open from 24 February until 19 March 2025 (1:00pm AWST) to be considered for a graduate position between July 2025 and June 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
