Fitzroy Crossing Renal Centre expansion gets underway

The $8.6 million expansion of the Fitzroy Crossing Renal Centre is underway, with footings, slab pours, retaining walls and blockwork forming the first stages of the construction schedule.

The expansion will double the facility’s capacity, making it possible for an additional 16 renal patients to receive ongoing treatment closer to home and on Country.

The revitalised centre will also feature local artworks incorporated into panelling and screens, helping to provide comfortable, culturally safe and welcoming surroundings for patients during treatment.

Due for completion in late 2025, the program of works has been designed to minimise disruption to patients and staff.
