Contractor appointed to deliver main works for new Mullewa Community Hospital

The State Government has awarded the contract to deliver the Mullewa Community Hospital redevelopment to WA owned and operated EMCO Building.

An additional $13.3 million has been approved, bringing the total project budget to $19.6 million, ensuring the redevelopment moves forward to the main works stage.

The new hospital will offer modern, purpose-built facilities to support a wide range of health services including 24/7 emergency care, respite and palliation, outpatient treatment and community health programs.

Treatment spaces will also be equipped with the very latest in virtual healthcare technology, providing greater patient access to specialist care close to home.

Following approval of the additional funding and finalisation of the contract award process, main works are expected to start later this year.
