Community Health focuses on preventing illness and maintaining health through health promotion, early identification, early interventions and treatment. Services provided include:

• Child health and school health
• Diabetes services
• Immunisation
• Aboriginal health

Public health

The Public Health Team works to prevent ill health and promote and protect good health through Disease Control activities and Health Promotion. Services provided include:

• Communicable disease control
• Immunisations
• Sexual health
• Health promotion
• Needle and Syringe Exchange Program (NSEP)
