Great Southern graduate programs

The Great Southern offers amazing opportunities for graduate nurses and midwives across the region.

Opportunities are available at hospitals and health services in Albany, Katanning, Kojonup and Gnowangerup across general medical and surgical, day surgery, sub-acute care, emergency department, maternity and mental health. Graduates may rotate between the regional resource centre and multi-purpose sites where they will develop a broad range of skills.

There is also an option for nurses wishing to specialise in mental health to work solely in the 16-bed acute mental health unit.

Graduate midwives have the opportunity to develop their skills in an eight-bed maternity unit, which supports approximately 500 births per year.
