Esperance bolstered with additional paramedics
Four FTE paid paramedics are now based in Esperance to boost ambulance capability in the bush.
Delivering on the commitment to bolster the ambulance response in the country, Esperance will operate a new hybrid model of care that is expected to improve response times and provide even more support to the community and dedicated volunteers.
WA Country Health Service’s Chief Operating Officer Rob Pulsford said it was exciting to see additional paramedics in the regions.
“Esperance is the ninth country area to receive a boost since March that we know will lead to improved ambulance response times and even more support for volunteers and the community,” he said.
“The additional resources are part of the continued investment in ambulance response capabilities in the bush.”
