Allied health professionals at WACHS provide a full range of services across the continuum of care, include preventative, acute, rehabilitation and palliative care. There are opportunities to work in a specialised field of healthcare or as a generalist practitioner.
Allied health teams operate in hospital, community, mental health and aged care settings in country Western Australia. They typically provide services to the town in which they reside, as well as outreach services to surrounding communities.

Allied health team locations
WACHS is the sole provider of public health services in regional Western Australia. There are over 70 hospitals, clinics, and services in community health, mental health and aged care.
WACHS allied health professionals are typically based in regional or district centres. Major sites include (but are not limited to):
- Kimberley: Broome, Kununurra, Derby, Halls Creek
- Pilbara: Port Hedland, Karratha, Newman, Tom Price
- Midwest: Geraldton, Carnarvon
- Goldfields: Kalgoorlie, Esperance
- Wheatbelt: Northam, Narrogin, Merredin, Moora
- South West: Bunbury, Collie, Busselton, Manjimup
- Great Southern: Albany, Katanning, Denmark.
