    Thank you Katie Papertalk 01 May 2026 Across WA Country Health Service, there are many individuals whose work quietly - but profoundly - shapes who we are and how we care for our communities. Today, we recognise one of those people – Katie Papertalk – who will soon retire from her role as Aboriginal Mental Health Coordinator in the Pilbara.

    State Government launches Be Wise, Immunise to help WA beat the flu this winter 30 April 2026 Last year, WA experienced one of the worst flu seasons on record, resulting in our hospitals treating thousands of seriously ill patients of all ages. Getting vaccinated this winter is one the best ways to protect the community.
