Mental Health Emergency Telehealth Service

The Mental Health Emergency Telehealth Service (MHETS) provides WA country doctors and nurses with 24/7 access to specialist mental health nurses and psychiatrists.

Using video conferencing technology, our clinical specialists assist in caring for people presenting to any of our emergency departments with acute mental health, drug and alcohol conditions.

The MHETS team, along with the Mental Health Patient Flow (MHPF) Team also advocate for and help to facilitate country patients requiring transfer for Mental Health care and assessment, ensuring that they have the same access as metropolitan patients.
